Rock Chapel & Mansfield Battlefield Charge, Aug. 26, 2006

On Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, with 70% rain predictions, seven gallant stallions rode north on I-49 in search of Louisiana History. Our Lord, guided by your prayers, blessed the day and we were richly rewarded with gold (Rock Chapel), silver (Mansfield Civil War Battlefield), and diamonds (Cypress Bend Resort on Toledo Bend). Looping home on beautiful LA 191 and LA 28, He let it rain but not one of His stallions stumbled. Glad Hatter recorded 317.7 miles, arriving back onto home turf (surprisingly so) at exactly the 6:00pm projection. Praise you Lord Jesus - nothing we desire compares with you!
